Privacy Policy

This policy explains what information 4AM Media LLC, doing business as Thomas Knows AI (“Thomas Knows AI,” “I” or “me”), collects when you visit thomasknows.ai, how I use it and the choices you have. If you have a question, email me at hi@thomasknows.ai.

What I collect

Information you give me:

  • Your email address when you sign up for the free playbook.
  • Your first name, job title and the AI tools you use, from the short form that comes right after signup.
  • Anything you send me by email.
  • If you’re a client and sign a proposal on the site, a record of that signature: your name, email, company and title, the agreement and fees you accepted, the date and time, and your IP address and browser details.

Information collected automatically:

  • The campaign tags in the link you used to reach the site (for example, which post or email sent you), saved with your signup.
  • Pages you visit, your browser and device type, and your approximate location from your IP address, through the analytics and tools listed below.
  • Signals Google reCAPTCHA uses to tell people from spam bots when you submit a form.

How I use it

  • To send you the playbook and my Tuesday email, and to match what I send to the AI tools you use.
  • To see which pages and links work so I can improve the site.
  • To block spam and abuse.
  • To learn which businesses visit the site, so I can follow up with ones that may be a good fit.
  • To run my business, keep records and meet legal obligations.

Emails from me

Signing up for the playbook sends you an email with the playbook link and adds you to my Tuesday email. You can leave the Tuesday email at any time with the unsubscribe link in it, or by emailing me.

Services I use

These companies handle some of your information for me, under their own privacy policies:

  • Resend stores my subscriber list and sends my emails.
  • Google reCAPTCHA protects the signup form. The Google Privacy Policy and Terms of Service apply.
  • Google Analytics measures site traffic and uses cookies. You can opt out with Google’s opt-out browser add-on.
  • Vercel hosts the site. Its Web Analytics and Speed Insights measure visits and page speed; Vercel says they don’t use cookies and store anonymized data.
  • lemlist runs a website-visitor tool that tries to identify the company you work for, and sometimes you, from your visit.
  • Neon hosts the database where I keep signed-proposal records.
  • Stripe processes payments for client invoices. I never see your full card number.

Cookies

The site uses a few cookies of its own, for example to keep the playbook or a private page unlocked after you open it. Google Analytics, reCAPTCHA and lemlist may set their own cookies or use similar technology. You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings; some pages may not work without them. The site doesn’t currently respond to Do Not Track signals.

Sharing

I don’t sell your email address or profile details. I share information only with the services above so they can do their jobs, when the law requires it, or as part of a sale or merger of my business, in which case this policy keeps applying to it.

How long I keep it

I keep your subscriber details while you’re on my list and for a reasonable time after, and I delete them sooner if you ask. Analytics data is kept for the periods each service sets.

Your choices and rights

You can unsubscribe at any time. You can also email me to see the information I have about you, correct it or have it deleted. Depending on where you live, such as California, the EU or the UK, you may have more rights over your information, and I’ll honor them as the law requires.

Children

This site is for adults running or working in a business. I don’t knowingly collect information from children under 13. If you think a child has signed up, email me and I’ll delete it.

Security and where data is stored

I take reasonable steps to protect your information, but no website or email service is completely secure. The services I use store data in the United States and may process it in other countries.

Changes

If I change this policy, I’ll update it here and change the date at the top.
